If you have found your way to Virtual Insanity you know that you are looking for something different, something unique and something that you can be proud to be a part of. Are you part of a guild, but just don’t seem to mesh quite enough with others? Do you often find yourself making snide or sarcastic remarks that fall on deaf ears? Are you willing to laugh at yourself if the situation arises? Are you a raider that doesn’t want to give up your other priorities, such as real life at times? Did you happen to join the Echo Isles realm without realizing it’s a west coast server – and you have to be in bed by 10:30 PM on weeknights?
If so, Virtual Insanity might be the perfect guild for you! Well, assuming we are accepting applications, that is.
Virtual Insanity (VI) is an east coast-based casual raiding guild, playing on a west coast server. That information alone should give you an idea that things are not quite right with us. VI is comprised of many different individuals and personalities, all of which have combined to form a close-knit online family. And as with most families, almost anything goes.
VI currently has fully cleared Karazhan, Gruul's Lair, Magtheridon's Lair, and Zul'Aman. Our raids start at 8:00 PM EST, and are run during the week as well as on the weekends. While it is true that our members love to have fun and often spend our time on TS laughing and joking around, we also know how to get things done when the situation arises. As with most families, we are able to come together and work as a unified front to accomplish whatever task may be put before us; whether it’s an entry level dungeon, a heroic run, or a raid boss. VI members are kind, courteous, know their classes well, and are able to meet and exceed whatever is required of them.
VI’s mission is focused on progression, but not at the expense of losing our identity. While some guilds define progression as being the first to kill X boss, VI defines progression a little differently. To us, progression may be something as simple as reaching a goal of three Kara groups, having everyone in the guild get the 20-slot bag from Zul Aman, making sure every 70 has completed the five-man quests to open up the Ogri’la dailies, or killing a world dragon.
VI is an active, helping family who won’t force anyone to change if it is not their desire to do so. VI was founded as a place where its members can be themselves. Often, when discussing various specs and play style changes, one statement can be heard loud and clear: play the class you want to play, at the spec of your choice (assuming, of course, you’re not a mage wanting to heal).
But what, really, does all of this mean? VI is not like every other guild. And we never will be, nor do we care to be. We offer a laid-back, friendly, fun environment to raid, quest, and PVP in. We simply ask that all members return the same. Our officers have created an open-door policy, in which any issues, small or large, are open for discussion. We also offer free access to our TeamSpeak server and free access to all the resources here on the website.
If you have something to discuss, or wish to seek more information about our Guild then please contact any one of our officers.
